Mornings are weird. There’s that short moment where you don’t know who you are or what you’re doing. And then everything falls into place and you can’t remember why you were so confused.
This one was really fun to draw, because of all the lighting effects. Plus, the line art came together very smoothly for this one, which was great. All-in-all, this was a pleasant way to start a new chapter.
I was introduced to the Misfits today. Not my usual genre, but I like them a lot so far. I’m always on the lookout for more stuff to listen to, so if you’ve got suggestions, let me hear them!
Oh yah, I know that feeling. Know it all too well! 😀
Usually it won’t take me more than a few minutes to remember when this happens. But I’ve been sitting in front of a bowl of cereal, fully dressed half an hour later and still wondering what I was supposed to do as well a few times.
Damn! At least you had the presence to go through with getting up and dressed and such.
I used to have that “Who am I and what is this place” feeling, but then we got a dog a few months back, and she needs her 6:30 walk.
Now it’s a “whoever I am, I got a dog to walk” feeling.
Love the lighting in those first three panels. It’s great throughout the page, but those three stand out the most. Plus, the way you repeat the same three panels, but with variations. It really works.
Ha! I guess having an immediate need takes care of that.
Thanks! I spent a lot of time on the first three.
