Grumble
Heaven forbid Rachel would ever be unpleasant to a customer – or at least a customer who hasn’t insulted her guitar. Will she open up with her troubles to Derek? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

ohhhh dude you have no idea!!!
im bipolar and have my entire life of faking a smile and being kind even when im not wanting to that i can come to work pissed off and 2 seconds later be a ray of sunshine to any and all cusotomers. as a computer technician in retail i have the pleasure of dealing with not only malfunctioning products but the angry or unpleasant owners of said products. my first priority is to defuse the coustomers mood then work on the one that wont throttle for a wrong word.
Yikes. Nothing gets a person angrier faster than a broken computer.
First rule of customer service. Always keep a smile.
I used to be a disc jockey, and it was the same thing. No matter what kind of day you were having, as soon as you opened the mike you were smiling. Listeners can tell.
And I love how you start out with that open, empty word balloon in the upper corner! I’m gonna steal that idea sometime.
Thanks! I had to find a way to make it sort of “flow” in such a way as to make it less focused and more … mumble-y.
I think it is sort of a generally good rule of thumb that when you’re dealing with people you don’t know, you’re best off smiling while you do it.
