Have You Ever

This took longer than probably any page since the first few when I was still figuring out my workflow. ย But I like how it turned out so I’d say it was worth it.
I have amp stuff to talk about on Thursday. ย Until then, have a great week!
It was completely worth it.
I have a band in my comic, and I’m scared of all the work it’ll take to draw them playing. You did a great job.
I love how they’re in the background. Nice.
Especially Brett rocking out on lead. ๐
And just eat the sandwich one bite at a time, GroovyKinda, just one bite at a time. ๐
Thanks ๐ It was just so damn much fun to draw. I think the poses took the longest, though there was a lot of detail work. It helps that those three guitars are, in fact, hanging on my wall.
I’ve seen your pose work, Charlie, I’m sure you’ll nail it.
I’ve actually been puzzling over how to make drawing Band Scenes easier. The guitars, of course, have to be perfectly proportioned or it will look weird. I think the best solution is to put together 3d models of the guitars I tend to use and import them into Manga Studio. Then I can insert them, rotate and scale them into position for the scene, and use them as a guide in place of a pencil sketch. It will be nice because it will allow cool angles that would otherwise be just too damn difficult.
I just need to learn how to use Blender. It is baffling.
Woo! More amp stuff. Talk geeky to me!. ๐
