Cue the Allman Brothers.

Jessica’s guitar (which Rachel was kind enough to describe) is a Fender American Standard Stratocaster with a few modifications.  Jess had the pickguard and pickups swapped out from the traditional S-S-S configuration (three single coils) to the less-common H-S-H configuration (a humbucker in the bridge and neck positions and a single coil in the middle).  She has Seymour Duncan APH-1 humbuckers installed, which are lower output pickups with weaker AlNiCo II magnets in them.  Here’s what this would look like in real life.

Notice the two humbuckers and one single coil.  This is my Strat, upon which Jessica’s guitar is based.  The key difference is that I’ve got cheaper AlNiCo II pickups installed rather than the Duncans.

Have a great weekend, y’all!
