I may or may not have reacted this way to an amplifier before.
Finally a new chapter! And we’re back in the store so I finally get to make jokes about music gear again. Hooray!

It ‘s nice to see Rachel’s measured, deliberate demeanor again. 🙂
She is a very serious person
I love this page! This is exactly how I feel when I see a fine classic piece of gear that has obviously been modified. Makes me sick when mods have been done irreversibly.
Thanks! I mostly agree. I’ve seen so many jmps nodded to be jcm800s. Now I love jcm800s more than any amp, but if you buy a jmp and you want more gain, either sell it and buy a different amp or put a pedal in front of it.
But I don’t get too upset about it. People can do what they want to their amps, as long as they like how it sounds. That’s what it’s all about, after all.
I have a ’71 Fender Twin that I occasionally plant sloppy kisses on…
And who could blame you. It sounds beautiful. Is that a silverface, or were they still black at that point?
You know, I think this reaction from the staff would really increase my confidence in their skills and reliability to get the job done. And from the customer’s face in the last panel with the slight smile, so it did for him.
Yeah, enthusiasm goes a long way in terms of customer confidence.
