For some reason, this one was very fun to draw. I think I just like Elaine’s moods.
This weekend, I participated in moving three separate apartments. I’m pretty sure I felt less exhausted after finishing my last marathon. It felt good to get it all done in one go, though. I still have a ton of unpacking to do, but at least the heavy lifting is out of the way.
That’s all from me for now. I need to go pass out and sleep for a week. See you Thursday!
Full disclosure: “last marathon” sounds more impressive than it is. I’ve run two marathons, but only one was official.

It’s actually kind of fun to read, too. The progression from empty room to exhaustedly determined occupant is similar to a “running gag”, where each panel builds on the previous one. I liked the flow.
Thanks! I’ve always liked action sequences from a fixed viewpoint. It sort of reads like an animation.
That looks like one of those fancy “gravity amplification” chairs. Easy to get into, almost impossible to get out of.
Don’t you love pages where you can repeat backgrounds? They’re easier to draw, and they have a really nice cinematic quality if you do it right. Which you did.
Thanks! Yeah, repeated backgrounds are great. The only downside is when you notice a mistake and have to correct it in all the frames!
